About Me

Living between the U.S. and Japan, I spent years trying to figure out where I fit in (or didn't fit in...), feeling a little bit like I was floating between two worlds without a clear spot in either.

The lightbulb moment hit me on a train in Tokyo. Looking around at the sea of black, navy, and gray coats, I realized... nope. I’m done trying to fit in. It’s my life, and if I like colors, I should wear colors to celebrate being me!

So, I started wearing colorful outfits and hunting down silly, joyful accessories (yes, like bright red lobster earrings🦞). Almost instantly, I felt lighter, happier, and more confident than ever. Nowadays, people know me for my colorful style, and I’ve never felt more like myself.

I created Evermugi hoping to share that exact experience and happiness that colorful things brought into my life! Consider this your official invitation to break the beige cycle with me! Life deserves a little extra fun, quirkiness, and comfortable delight.
