Hello, 2025!
The start of a new year always feels like a fresh canvas- a time to reflect on the past and paint the picture of what’s to come. After a 9-day holiday filled with quiet moments of reflection, I’ve been thinking about 2024, its lessons, and how I want to grow this year.
While many people kick off the year with a list of resolutions (which I deeply admire!), I’ve realized that I’m more of a vision board + word-of-the-year kind of person. Resolutions are amazing, but let’s be honest- remembering (and sticking to) a million bullet points? Not my style. Instead, focusing on a single word as the theme for the year works wonders for me.
The Word of the Year: Consistency
This year, my word is consistency. I’m the kind of person who gets super excited about a new project, hobby, or habit... for about three days. Journaling? Tried it. Yoga every morning? Gave it a shot. But after a few days, boredom sets in, and I move on to something else.
This year, I want to change that. Consistency doesn’t mean perfection- it means showing up, even if it’s not perfect. Whether it’s in my personal life, creative projects, or building Evermugi, I want to keep showing up, day after day. Because small, steady steps lead to big changes over time.
What’s Your Word for 2025?
Have you chosen your word for the year? Or are you more of a resolutions person? Either way, it’s never too late to reflect on what you want this year to look like. Maybe it’s “growth,” “calm,” “adventure,” or “connection.” Whatever resonates with you, let it guide your year.
The Power of Vision Boards
If you’re feeling stuck, a vision board can be a great way to visualize your goals. Personally, I’m obsessed with Pinterest! It’s my go-to for finding inspiring images, quotes, and ideas that align with my goals. There’s something magical about curating a collection of visuals that bring your dreams to life. Whether you go digital or create a physical board, it’s a daily reminder of what you’re working toward.
Evermugi’s Vision for 2025
For Evermugi, consistency means steadily growing this space, celebrating hybrid identities, and bringing more of our unique designs to life. I’m excited to keep blooming and evolving, one step at a time.
So, here’s to 2025—a year of showing up, embracing the journey, and finding joy in the little moments along the way. What will you focus on this year?
Let me know in the comments—I’d love to hear your word or resolutions!
Until next time, bye~~~!
